Addiction Education Foundation starts 2nd Mission Veteran Program

Addiction Education Foundation starts 2nd Mission Veteran Program

2nd Mission Veteran Sober House is a recovery residence dedicated to military veterans overcoming PTSD and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Operated by the Addiction Education Foundation Inc., our home provides a safe, structured, and veteran-only sober environment where residents heal through brotherhood, therapy, peer support, and wraparound support services. Unlike general sober living homes, 2nd Mission addresses the unique needs of veterans by integrating needed treatment and services such as; mental and physical health needs, trauma-focused care (CBT, EMDR, PE), animal-assisted therapy, peer support, VA benefits enrollment and support.

Our mission is to help veterans reclaim purpose, stability, and long-term sobriety.

Location: Jacksonville, FL — home to the largest veteran population in Florida. Certification Goal: Florida Association of Recovery Residences (FARR) and DCF-approved.
