Alcoholics Anonymous

AA is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical, and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem.

Al-Anon Family Groups

AL-ANON (and ALATEEN for younger members) is a worldwide organization that offers a program of help and mutual

support for families and friends of someone with a drinking problem whether or not the person with a drinking problem seeks help or even recognizes the existence of a drinking problem.

Narcotics Anonymous

Narcotics Anonymous, founded in 1953, describes itself as a "nonprofit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem". Narcotics Anonymous uses a 12-step model developed for people with varied substance use disorders and is the second-largest 12-step organization.

Floridians for Recovery leads the Florida recovery movement by giving a voice to people in or seeking recovery and linking initiatives statewide.
